As you probably know, if you want to succeed as an internet marketer, the first thing you need is lots of traffic to your website. You don’t have to rely on luck or random visitors to land on your site. With just a couple of hours each day, you can create a lot of ways for people to both find your website and decide that it is worth visiting. If you want to start making more money online, you must start getting many people to visit your site. You have to remember that the more traffic you get, the more sales you will make. Isn’t that what attracted you to internet marketing in the first place, the opportunity to make lots of sales? Just use some of these methods, and you will find that more people start landing on your site.

Submit your website to secondary search engines, but let Google and Bing index your site through other means such as links you can help get noticed. Using Google’s manual form submission process will take longer, and you can get it done faster with social media techniques. It will take several hours to manually submit to the smaller engines – and it’s not 100% necessary, either. This serves two purposes, you’ll get traffic from them and they will contribute something to your site’s overall popularity as understood by Google’s algorithm. There are hundreds of ways to get backlinks to your site, and not all are created equal – that’s for sure. You don’t want all high PR, high-power backlinks because Google recognizes that as unnatural, so having a good variety will make things look more normal, and natural.

Try to check and make sure your site links are in good working order. Broken links make it tough for your visitors to move around your site. You don’t want to encourage your visitors to leave, once that happens they may never visit again. Also, if you employ an SEO navigation structure to your site, broken links will stop the search engine spiders and that will not help your efforts.

Take some time and find some high quality newsletter publishers in your niche market area. Contact them and go slowly, but what you eventually want to do is contribute some content, or articles, to their newsletter. Of course you will not ask for payment, but rather be able to use include your link in the bio section. If you write good articles, with good information, you’ll see that many newsletters publishers will let you do this. Try it, you just may end with something unexpected, and good.

There are a lot of ways to generate traffic to your website. But it’s a process that is always continuing and neverending. If you’re not ready to outsource anything, you need to put daily effort into develop backlinks plus traffic generation. There’s so much to do, and that will help make it less boring. So maybe just think in terms of the money those efforts will bring you.
