What — a concept. Automatically submit your article to thousands of article directories with a click. Wow! No, it totally doesn’t work that way. No free lunch on the net. But, there are many fine online services and article submission software programs in existence that will semi-automatize the process so you get a better ROI for your time and cost per backlink.

Best of all, the backlink to your site is 100% content relevant since the article is about the content of your website. So, the backlink is exactly what Google spiders and compares the keyword content for in the article and your website. That translates into a win-win-win situation for your website, well written content for the article site, and informative content for people searching your keywords.

This can’t even come close to blog commenting, directory submission, or low market share directories. This is why so many people who want to rank high are jumping on the automated article submission software or online services bandwagon. But, if you think this method of getting high PR backlinks is as easy as writing a few paragraphs and hitting ENTER, you’d be wrong.

Seek out experienced reviews of Article Submission Software and Services before you buy.

Before you waste a lot of money and time trying article submission software and online services, you need to see how the submission process works. Whatever product of service you choose, the process is essentially the same, if you already have this piece under control — read on. If you don’t go to ezine articles and submit your article. Their tutorials are the best.

There are good sources to discover which article submission software or online service can fit your goals. The best is a personal recommendation from a friend or respected SEO/SEM, second, choosing from a article that review the software. Read several, they are hard to find, but they are out there. You can look for them by using quotes for your search. Example, “best article submitting software reviews.” You HAVE to use the quotes. The last place to shop is on the actual sites of the developers. They are full of sales hype, and some with claims they can’t fulfill.

Powerful, high PageRank quality backlinks come from articles submitted to article directories by authors and SEO strategists that know how to formulate good backlinking strategies. There is no argument from the SMM, social media marketers, bloggers, directory submitters, and cloakers that have experience and integrity and no sales hype behind them, that article submission is the best promotion for a website. When you wash away all the misinformation out there, article backlinks are the winners.

Power backlink methods are not push-a-button quick fixes. Nope, sorry – you have to be a strategist and have a deep understanding of what keywords and keyphrases are. You have to know how their implications for your niche market, and how they react on Google. You can always benefit by learning more. The more we learn the less we know. Read the Google Terms of Service.

To compete with Google’s index of your competition, determine how many backlinks your competitor has and then beat him. It’s that simple. As of this article’s date, I am running a backlink article submission backlink builder for a client who needs 3000 backlinks to compete with the #2 company on Google with the the keyword, “gift card software.” This is an awesome task because his competitor has a PR4 and thousands of backlinks. When I started with him, he had 86. The #1 website for that keyword is untouchable for reasons I can’t get into here.

Let’s run the numbers. When I submit one article per week to the online service I use, the yield is 2.5 backlinks a day. Remember, I have to follow that article with a new one each week while 1000 or so directories are having the first article submitted. As the first two articles are in the pipeline, so another follows in the third week and so on. Hence in a twelve month period, I create 913 backlinks. If I submit to 1000 directories, only 250 will accept the article and publish it with your backlinks and author’s name intact.

My time investment to accomplish this breakneck quantity of content relevant backlinks is spent mostly writing and paraphrasing. I do use a good synonymizer from time to time when I’m pressed for time plus, I will outsource article writing, but NEVER overseas. That is too much hassle and inferior writing. I depend on the USA and Canada for outsourcing. You don’t have to do that, unless you are a mediocre author.

You may think the article doesn’t matter, it’s the backlinks in the resource boxes that do. You would be wrong. More about that in my next article.
